Our Story

Thrive Learning Studio began with a simple idea: to create a learning space where children could receive thoughtful academic support in an environment that feels calm, purposeful and genuinely attentive to their needs.

The studio remains intentionally small and independent, allowing teaching to stay personal and responsive. Each child is supported at the pace they need, with guidance that strengthens understanding, develops strong learning habits and builds confidence over time.

Alongside academic sessions, Thrive has also become a place where families seek advice and perspective on wider educational decisions. Whether navigating school transitions, considering curriculum options or looking for clearer direction, parents value having a trusted professional to talk things through with.

Above all, Thrive exists to ensure children feel both supported and appropriately challenged, so that progress feels meaningful and confidence grows naturally.

Meet the Founder

Thrive was founded by Laura Nash, a UK-qualified teacher and education consultant with over twenty years of experience in schools across continents. Her work in educational leadership, curriculum design and international school development has given her a deep understanding of how children learn and how families, caregivers and professionals can work together to create environments where learning flourishes.

Laura values authentic relationships and purposeful collaboration, believing that shared reflection strengthens every learner’s experience. She continues to evolve alongside education itself, keeping her practice thoughtful, informed and responsive to the changing needs of children, families and communities.

Let’s Connect

  • We believe that a strong community creates exciting learning opportunities and a valuable support network - whether this be between professionals and parents, a parent collective, or teams of children with shared interests. The opportunities are endless and we are excited to explore them.

  • We are here to help you understand how to best support your child’s learning needs. We love meeting new families, and sometimes having the space to discuss and reflect can be very reassuring for parents.

  • We love getting to know like-minded professionals who put children and families at the centre of what they do. We recognise and value the skills of others, and we know that families thrive when there is a caring community of people who can support them.

If you place the needs of children and families at the heart of your work and you operate with professionalism, authenticity and care, we would love to connect.
