Hi, I’m Laura.
Welcome to Thrive Learning Studio.
I have worked in education for more than 20 years - as a teacher, school leader and education consultant in the UK and internationally.
What I have created at Thrive reflects both the experience I’ve gained along the way and the things that continue to shape my work: strong relationships with children and families, thoughtful practice and a genuine interest in how education continues to evolve.

Thrive Learning Reviews are focused, one-to-one educational assessments that provide insight into current attainment, foundational knowledge and skills, learning behaviours and appropriate next steps.
Inside the Studio
Our Learning Studio is a calm, purposefully designed space surrounded by tropical gardens and close to leading international schools.
The environment supports focus, engagement and confidence, with carefully selected resources that deepen understanding and encourage active learning. From practical materials and digital tools to a thoughtfully curated library, every detail is chosen to support meaningful learning.
A Growth Mindset
At Thrive, children are encouraged to see progress as something built through effort, reflection and perseverance. Mistakes are treated as a valuable part of the learning process, creating opportunities to question, rethink and deepen understanding.
Learning should not always feel easy. Through thoughtful encouragement and appropriate challenge, children learn to stay with problems for longer, try different approaches and become more confident when they don't immediately know the answer.
Over time, the aim is to develop increasingly independent learners who understand that progress is not simply about getting things right, but about how they think, respond to challenge and learn from experience.
